Bio:

I began shooting competitively in my teens and earned a place on the US Shooting Team in 1986.  For six years, I travelled extensively in the US and abroad competing successfully in International Trap.  I trained for over a year at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs to compete for a position on the 1992 Olympic Team.  I placed 6th and the top 3 were placed on the team.  This training and experience benefits me in the mental aspect of competition and skills which I still utilize today.

In 2009, IDPA provided my entry into the action shooting world.  I made 5-Gun Master within the first year and soon branched into USPSA, which led to 3-Gun shooting.  By 2013 I was solidly competing in 3-Gun.  In 2014, I earned a spot on the 3-Gun Nation Pro Series.  2015 proved to be a good year with a win at the 3-Gun Nation Pro Series Event #8 and a 2nd place finish at the Rockcastle Pro Am among others.  During the 2016 shooting season, I placed in the top 10 on a consistent basis.  Great sponsor and many days of practice account for this.  Some of my best finishes were making the 3-Gun Nation Pro Series Finals, 3rd place at the World Shooting Championships and 1st place in the Bluegrass Shotgun Championship.
